Happy Easter!! I hope everybody had a wonderful Easter Holiday! :)

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved." John 3:16-17

The Message behind the Gospel is that Jesus died for our sins. As humans, we are sinners. We are born sinners...it's just instinct. The Bible tells us that the "wages of Sin is death" (Romans 6:23). On our own...we would never make it to heaven because "all have fallen short of the glory of God" (Romans 3;23). God does not take a big scale on judgement day and weigh out your good and bad and let those in whose "good outweighs the bad." Truth is... Nobody's scale would be good enough for Him. But thankfully, Jesus came into the world and took the punishment of our sins for us. We don't need to worry about our "good outweighing the bad." Because God loves us so much, he made it easy for us. All we have to do is accept the gift of eternal life by believing that Jesus is God's Son, that He died for our sins and raised to life three days later, that we are sinners and can never make it on our own without Jesus' help, and ask for forgiveness of our sins and a new life and relationship with Christ. Only then are we truly "born again." What can be better than that???
