The struggle is REAL tonight. The gas situation in Nashville is nuts, I may or may not have thrown a silent fit over the new paving/parking situation going on at my apartment complex this week and this is just day two of a very busy week.
I would say I need to walk off some steam... but a major part of the parking lot is shut down and traffic is CRAZY as people very angrily drive around in circles looking for somewhere to park for the night... that is... the people that haven't gotten towed already during this process (48 cars and a boat as of this morning... I know because they sent out a very "sweet" email around 9 am informing (bragging??) us of their doing...). Am I the only one who feels that asking us to move our cars before 7 am at the expense of being towed is slightly unreasonable? Maybe I am... either way... it is VERY inconvenient to say the least.
Needless to say, the extra hour I spent at dinner catching up with my Bible study on the Armor of God with Priscilla Shirer was probably worth the time... It's funny how much impact being immersed in God's word and wisdom can really have on your day to day functions. Especially a day like to day when my anger and frustration really about got the best of me.
All of this to say... when life gets hectic, frustrating or crazy... Rely on God's word. Because His word is THE Word... and The Word is Truth. And His Truth... will set you free (John 8:32).
God Bless
