Soo...One of my best friends has been Constantly getting hit with spiritual Warfare by one of her professors...You know what i mean? Where they are so hard hearted and feel the need to throw anything in your way that just might make you question your christian beliefs. I now know what she's going through. Yesterday, my Biology professor made us sit through a 60- minute video on proving Evolution(whihc was a really lame video by the way...there was not one word of it that made sense). As Christians, we do not need to let them get in our way of having a fruitfull relationship with God. Here is why:
1.) Non-Christians who are this hard hearted tend to just Try and Try and TRY to make you believe anything other than that there is a God who created us. Funny isnt it? Most of them as a whole, never even believe in the same things. They all have thier own lists of assumptions and ideas as to what is going on in our world. So they are basically trying to persuade you (like a politician trying desperately to get votes) that thier ideas (not always information that is acurate) is the truth. In reality, It's just Satan using them to confuse us. Just like God and the angels celebrate each new believer that makes a decision in to follow God, Satan and his band of demons get pleaseure out of hardening new hearts. As sad as that is...remember...in the end, God WILL win this spiritual war...and we WILL celbrate his victory. So no need to get too fired up and too annoyed. Just smile, dont be afraid to tell your professor you disagree, dont be mean...show him that a true Christian is patient and loving and that there is no way in heck he can affect your relationship with the one true God!
"God has given him a name which is above every name – that at the name of Jesusevery knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord…" Philippians 2:9-11.

National 4-H Week!

The first week in October is National 4-H Week here in America! 4-H is a youth development club devoted to teaching youth citizenship, leardership, and life skills needed for life! While learning these skills, you have the best time of your life, make the best friends ever, and make some memories that last forever! 4-H truly was the best thing that ever happened to me! So here you go...a Post dedicated to my favorite club...the club that taught me how to give a speech, how to show a sheep, make a mid south winning poster (yes im bragging there :), how to be a sucessful leader, give interviews and demonstraions, in some cases sing and dance, hide from tornados (ha...this is true though), took me on some of the best trips, introduced me to the best friends i could ever ask for (including both my college roomates!), and holds a place in my heart so deep that i tear up just at the wonderful memories.
At the end of Every 4-H event here in Tennessee, we hold a 4-H dance. At the end of every dance...we play the song titled "The Dance" by Garth Brooks. It's the perfect ending to every event. We cry, hug, sway, and sing along to the words as we think about how they remind us of our own journey through 4-H and Life in general. So here are the words (for all you 4-Hers in honor of National 4-H week) to the Dance!
Lookin' back,On the memory of
The dance we shared, (be)Neath the stars above For a moment,All the world was right
How could I have known,
That you'd ever say goodbye?

And now,I'm glad I didn't know
The way It all would end
The way It all would end
The way It all would go
Our lives,Are better left to chance
I could have missed the pain,
But I'da had to miss the dance.
But I'da had to miss the dance.
Holding you,I held everything
For a moment,Wasn't I a king?
But If I'd only known,
How the king would fall
Hey who's to say,
You know I might have changed it all
And now,I'm glad I didn't know
The way It all would end
The way It all would go
Our lives,Are better left to chance
I could have missed the pain,
But I'da had to miss the dance
It's my life,It's better left to chance
I could have missed the pain
But I'da had to miss,
The dance
The dance
